One person was taken to a hospital and several others suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Casper.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Poplar and 13th Street shortly before 8 a.m.

Lt. Dan Dundas told K2 Radio News that a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to make a left turn onto 13th Street in front of a northbound Chevrolet Suburban which evidently had the right of way.

A broadside collision ensued, and the Tahoe continued east where it collided nearly head-on with a pickup truck that was stopped at a red light on 13th Street.

One person from the pickup truck was put onto a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance.

It was not immediately clear whether police would issue any citations in connection with the crash.

Traffic was blocked except for southbound vehicles on Poplar, though that side of the street was reduced to one lane.
