Wyoming has it's share of ghost towns, some interesting, some depressing, and some downright creepy.

Perhaps the most creepy goes to the old mining town of Gebo.

Just north of Thermopolis, Gebo was a coal miners haven. The town was established in 1907 and flourished during the 1920's, at one point with over 20,000 residents.

After the mining boom, residents started leaving in droves. All that was left by the 1940's was remnants of what used to be. By 1971, a bulldozer took down many buildings.

Most of what's left of Gebo is graveyards. There are many notable graves of children and infants. People have reported hearing crying babies and voices while visiting these cemeteries.
