The Wyoming Food For Though Project is currently looking for specific items for the Free Store. According to a recent post on their official Facebook page:

Our volunteers at the Free Store have been hard at work, sorting and organizing. They make the Free Store experience special for each person who comes in the door.

To that: we are requesting all housewares and no clothing. We need: bowls, plates, cooking utensils, lamps, skillets, coffee pots, etc. Anything you have collecting dust, or that was gifted by someone "special" that you will never use:

We don't need clothing. But we DO appreciate all who donate.

Donations are usually accepted each Friday from 1-2 pm at the Free Store, located on the grounds of the Landing at Roosevelt (140 East K Street).

Thanks, community!

There is more than one way to contribute to the Wyoming Food for Thought Project. Whether you would like to volunteer your time, make a monetary donation or host a food drive, every opportunity helps to sustain the work they do and ensure food security throughout the Casper community. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join.
