Wyoming federal judges recently sentenced seven men for drug, illegal alien, assault and firearms crimes, according to the Wyoming U.S. Attorney's Office.

Chief U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Freudenthal sentenced Lennace Louis Miller, 28, of Casper for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Miller received four years, three months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised probation, and was ordered to pay a $200 fine and a $100 special assessment.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated this case.

U.S. District Court Judge Judge Alan Johnson sentenced Jose Alberto Acuna, 31, of Casper for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Acuna was arrested in Green River. He received 10 years of imprisonment, to be followed by four years of supervised probation, and was ordered to pay $900 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Johnson sentenced Ronald Detro Winder, 51, for being a felon in possession of firearms. Winder was arrested in Gillette. He received three years of imprisonment, to be followed by two years of supervised probation, and was ordered to pay a $200 fine and a $100 special assessment.

Johnson sentenced Ryan Christopher Fagan, 36, of Sheridan for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Fagan was arrested in Platte County. He received three years, five months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised probation, and was ordered to pay $250 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.

The DCI and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated this case.
Johnson sentenced Miguel Martinez-Morales, 35, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. He was arrested in Campbell County. He received time served, plus 10 days, was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment, and is subject to deportation upon release from custody.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
U.S. District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl sentenced Dylan Thomas Blackburn, 20, of Riverton for assault resulting in serious bodily injury. Blackburn was arrested in Lander. He received one year, nine months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised released, and was ordered to pay $11,862.63 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Skavdahl also sentenced Crawford Daniel Oldman, 28, of Riverton for assault resulting in serious bodily injury. He was arrested in Lander. He received one year, six months of imprisonment, to be followed by two years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. Restitution will be determined at a later date.
