Wyoming federal judges recently sentenced six men and one woman for crimes including drugs, child pornography, firearms, illegal alien, and Social Security fraud, according to the Wyoming U.S. Attorney's Office.

Wolf Elkins Duran, 25, of Casper was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy Freudenthal for possession of child pornography. He received four years, nine months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay $8,500 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Freudenthal sentenced Linus Sitting Eagle, 61, of Arapahoe for Social Security Title II Representative Payee Fraud. He received one year of probation and was ordered to pay $65,544.32 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Social Security Administration investigated this case.

 

Freudenthal sentenced Darrel "Bud" Goodman, 51, of Arapahoe for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. He received three years, 10 months of imprisonment, to be followed by eight years of probation, and was ordered to pay $750 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Tribal Fish and Game, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, FBI and DCI investigated this case.

Freudenthal also sentenced Noe Robles-Canales, 34, of Zacatecas, Mexico, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Robles-Canales was arrested in Cheyenne. He received time served plus 10 days to allow for deportation proceedings and was ordered to pay $100 in special assessment.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency investigated this case.

U.S. District Court Judge Alan Johnson sentenced Jaquer Garcia, 40, of Sheridan for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Garcia received 11 years, eight months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment Garcia was arrested in Cheyenne.

The Sheridan Police Department, Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, and the DCI investigated this case.

U.S. District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl sentenced Conrad Dewayne Webb and Stacy Jo Knapp (also known as Stacy Jo Rafay) in separate cases for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

 

Webb, 53, is from Glenrock. Knapp, 43, is from Gillette.

Skavdahl sentenced Webb to two years in prison, to be followed by three years of probation.

He sentenced Knapp to three years in prison, to be followed by three years of probation. He also ordered her to pay a $200 fine and a $100 special assessment.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated both cases.
