Would you try burgerushi? It takes the ingredients of a gourmet hamburger and serves it like sushi. Or takes sushi grade fish and serves it like a burger.

I had the pleasure of eating at the Cowfish in Orlando, Florida. They have other restaurants in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Atlanta. The atmosphere matched the food. It was full of bright colors that echo the sea, and yet embodies a gastro-pub, too. It felt young and hip like most of the restaurants on the City Walk at Universal Studios. As my wife and I were eating our meal, I thought to myself, this is a restaurant Wyoming could get behind.

Let’s talk about the food. View full menu here.

Would you try “The High-Class Hillbilly – Southern Style Bar-B-Q-Shi?” It is a roll with a center of bbq pork that is wrapped in potato and deep fried then topped with a bacon slaw. You could try the "All American Bacon Cheeseburgooshi?" That roll is what it sounds like a bacon cheeseburger rolled up like sushi. It too is wrapped with a potato and deep fried. The wrap tastes like French fries.

You can order a bento box with chef choice in sushi and a mini-cheeseburger. If you want a lamb burger – bam, they have one. Just want a basic cheeseburger? They have that too. Or you can have the more "traditional" sushi as well. But when in Rome, do as the Cowfish. Would you be adventurous and try burgushi?
