There are several towns and counties across America named "Wyoming". Did you know, there's also a Wyoming in Canada?

The village of Wyoming is part of a town called Plympton-Wyoming. With a population of 7,500, it serves as the seat of Lambdon County in the province of Ontario.

Like the great state of Wyoming, the Canadian town of Wyoming is well known for its railways and oil. The Wyoming station is one of the most popular train routes in Ontario, connecting the nearby town of Sarnia to Toronto.

Wyoming is also just four miles away from Petrolia, which is known as "Canada's Oil Town".

Although Ontario is known for its larger townships including Toronto, Windsor and the Capital City of Ottawa, Wyoming is actually closer to the Detroit, Michigan, than most big cities in Canada.

In fact, Wyoming, Ontario, is located less than 50 miles away from the United States border.
