STRONG WEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED BY 11 AM THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY EVENING BEHIND A PASSING PACIFIC TROUGH. A FEW GUSTS OF 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. INTERMITTENT SNOWFALL WILL OCCUR IN SOME AREAS OF SWEETWATER COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOWFALL COMBINED WITH THE WIND WILL LIKELY RESULT IN BRIEF PERIODS OF VISIBILITY LESS THAN ONE QUARTER OF A MILE. IF OUT DRIVING ON AREA HIGHWAYS THIS AFTERNOON... INCLUDING INTERSTATE 80... ANTICIPATE DANGEROUS CROSS WINDS AND OCCASIONAL LOWERED VISIBILITY. WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH IN SPEED AFTER 8 PM THIS EVENING.
