The theme song Trent Reznor wrote for the upcoming 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II' video game will be commercially released on Nov. 13, the same day the game hits stores.

"There is a lot of reservations and angst and sense of loss and regret and anger bubbling under the surface," the former Nine Inch Nails frontman said about his song, which does not yet have a title. "So it didn't make sense to have a gung ho patriotic kind of theme song. It has to feel weighty." In other words, it sound like it was written by Trent Reznor.

Back in July, it was believed that Reznor was composing all of the music for the video game, but as its release gets closer, we have learned that his contributions were limited solely to the one song. Instead, Jack Wall composed the score's 40-plus tracks, which will also come out on Nov. 13 and be included in physical copies of the game.

Along with Atticus Ross, Reznor composed the score for 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and 'The Social Network,' winning an Academy Award for the latter. The two, alongside Reznor's wife, Mariqueen Maandiq, released an EP in July under the band name How to Destroy Angels.
