The Tin Goose Lands in Casper [VIDEO]

What Henry Ford did for drivers with the Model T starting in 1903, he hoped to do for air travel in 1926. He wanted to make it safe, relatively comfortable and efficient.

And thus was born the Ford Tri-Motor, affectionately known as the Tin Goose, one of the first attempts at a relatively modern airliner. And the Experimental Aircraft Association’s vintage 1929 model landed in Casper today. She came in from the east, did one stop and go landing, circled the Casper/Natrona County International Airport and then settled down for a landing.

She landed on a different runway than we were told, so we apologize for the video being shakier than we'd prefer.
