The first night game of the 2017 season for the Wyoming Cowboys will be their Mountain West opener against Hawai’i on Sept. 23 at War Memorial Stadium.

The MW and ESPN Networks announced the game time will be 8:15 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN2.

The game will mark the 23rd meeting between the two schools on the football field. Wyoming holds a 13-9 lead in the overall series. Up for grabs is a traveling trophy between the two schools called the Paniolo Trophy. That is the Hawaiian word for Cowboy.
