Over the years, many legendary films have been filmed, or set, here in the great state of Wyoming.

This is not one of them. In fact, it may be the worst movie ever set in the Cowboy State.

The 2001 horror flick Joy Ride starred the late Paul Walker as a college student driving from California to meet the girl of his dreams in Colorado. After crossing into Wyoming, he enagages in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a deranged truck driver using the moniker "Rusty Nail".

The plot is full of geographical errors, including one scene where Walker places a phone call to the "Rawlins County Sheriff in Table Rock".

Of course, Rawlins County doesn't exist. The town of Table Rock is in Sweetwater County and the city of Rawlins is located in Carbon County.

If you thought the story was bad, just wait until you see the trailer.

Behold, the cheesiest horror movie ever set in Wyoming.
