Suicide can happen to anyone. It knows no color, gender, or socioeconomic status either.

We were all shocked with the recent suicide of Robin Williams. How could someone so successful take their own life? We'll never know, however by joining in on the walk and bringing attention to this problem in our society, maybe we can lower the unfortunately high numbers.

The walk will take place at 4:00 pm on September 13 at Crossroads Park.  There  will be free Johnny J's barbecue for the first 300 walkers.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.  Walk for your loved ones, for yourself and to show that you care about lowering the suicide rate in Wyoming.

For more information about the walk or the Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force, visit natronacountysuicideprevention.org or call Traci Gardner at 233-4277.
