You don't have to go to California to catch waves.

"Going surfing" in Wyoming sounds like a joke because, well, there's not exactly an ocean close by. But, it's a reality for some thrill seekers.

Surfing group 'Casual Slice' are on a "magical journey of pizza, surfing, and cartoons." On their journey, the group made a stop in Wyoming to surf the Snake River. Check out the awesomeness here.

This is one of those stories that makes us almost wish we still did the Idiot of the Day segment.

In the annals of good ideas, this falls well short of, say, the wheel.

The Red Bull Surf Team recently shot footage of pro surfers Bruce Irons, Kolohe Andino and Jamie O’Brien catching some Indonesian waves — with emergency flares attached to the back of their boards.
