Free Beer is once again calling college football games for Compass Media Networks this season. This past weekend, he was in Happy Valley calling the Penn State-Maryland game. At the beginning of the second quarter, Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg dropped back to pass and started to scramble. He managed to get the ball away, but not to the intended receiver.

A good motivational speech can definitely pump some people up, and recently the University of Michigan football team has needed that little boost. Unfortunately the guy giving this speech isn't giving it to the Michigan football team. Instead, he's giving it to all of his bros who are there to watch the Penn State game.

There is no doubt that Joe Paterno was a great man.  Well, OK in my mind there isn't, but I do know that around the same time he died, he was fired because of the Jerry Sandusky scandal. In my mind Jerry Sandusky and those whom did nothing are to blame.  Yes, Jo Pa was told what happened and then he told his bosses.  Jo Pa's bosses did nothing!  Think about how you would have reacted in his shoes.
