Pantera Reunion A Hoax

(via Rock News Desk) The surviving members of Pantera will never play together again, the band’s manager has stated.

Rumours have been circulating about the possibility of a one-off appearance by Phil Anselmo, Vinnie Paul and Rex Brown – with Black Label Society mainman Zakk Wylde playing guitar in place of Dimebag Darrell Abbott, who was shot dead on stage in 2004.

The auditions, held by Dancap Productions in various cities in America and Canada, began this past Saturday in Los Angeles. Now, a Toronto audition has been added to the audition schedule. An ad on the musical’s Facebook page says that the production is “seeking male and female rock singers early-late 20s for the upcoming national tour of American Idiot.”
