The winters in Wyoming are known for snow and wind. It would only make sense that snowkiting would be a perfect winter sport for the Cowboy State. This video shows a breathtaking ride near Grand Teton National Park. Why pay for a lift ticket when the wind can bring you back up the hill?

Snowkiting can be done on a snowboard or skis. The rider straps himself to a large kite that pulls him or her across the mountain much like a sale on a boat. This video is great because it shows you what an average day of snowkiting would be like. Plus it is full of majestic views of Wyoming in wintertime. As you can see when the video starts, this rider is an older gentleman. Who says baby boomers can't shred the powder?
