There's been a lot of controversy lately about medical marijuana in Wyoming. Turns out, people aren't the only ones using cannabis to cope with pain.

Treatables is a company that markets "super food wellness treats" for dogs and cats made with  "cannabidiol (CBD) and other non psychoactive cannabinoids derived from hemp grown for medicinal purposes."

Treatables have a low percentage of THC, the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana.

According to a recent High Times article, the treats are designed for pets who suffer from arthritis and anxiety. They also claim the CBD found in the product can help counteract the side effects for pets who accidentally eat other marijuana edibles containing THC.

Last year, the state passed a CBD-specific law, which allows some patients to obtain a "hemp extract identification card" and legally possess cannabinoid products.

Of course, that law doesn't apply to pets. Should it? Take our poll
