Two teenagers reported missing earlier Monday have been found safe, a Natrona County Sheriff's Office spokesman said.

Austin Wegner and Sarah Faulcon were located in the Ponderosa Park area of Casper Mountain on Monday afternoon, Sgt. Aaron Shatto said.

They were retrieved by helicopter. Shatto did not know if they had sustained any injuries, he said.

Wegner and Faulcon left Casper about 4 pm. Sunday to go to Casper Mountain or Muddy Mountain, according to a news release from the sheriff's office earlier Monday.

They were accompanied by a mixed Malamute Australian shepherd named Renegade.

On Monday, after failing to arrive home, their families reported them missing.
