Construction will begin on two turn lanes west of Casper at Wyoming Highway 220 at Indian Springs Road beginning Monday, Aug. 31, according to a news release from the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Crews will install a right-turn lane on northbound Wyoming Highway 220 near mile marker 108, and a left-turn lane on the southbound highway.

The turn lanes will allow traffic to move off the traveling lanes when entering Indian Springs Road.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane at the area of work. Speeds will be reduced to 30 mph when flaggers are present and 45 mph when they are not present.

The contractual completion date is Oct. 31, but much of the work should be completed by Sept. 30.
