A Riverton woman is charged with crimes related to a hit and run incident in north Casper on Friday that sent three people to the hospital.

Cecilia Warren, 24, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, and a third count may be filed later, a prosecutor said at the defendant's initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court on Monday.

Judge Michael Patchen set her bond at $20,000. Warren will have a preliminary hearing in a couple of weeks to determine whether her case will go to trial in state district court.

The case started on K Street near Wolcott Street about 6 p.m. Friday when an intoxicated man, Willie Young, was arguing with a woman at her residence she shared with her children, fiance and his father, according to a police affidavit filed in circuit court.

Police responded to the Wyoming Medical Center's emergency room to interview the woman.

The woman told police that she and her fiance told Young to leave.

Warren, who began fighting with the fiance, and Young were near a silver sedan. (An earlier report said it was a different color.) Warren told Young to get in the car.

Warren then got in the car, drove west on K Street and tried to run over the fiance, who dodged the car. Warren drove to Center Street, turned around and drove back to the woman, the fiance's father, and another man.

The fiance told police that Warren hit the three so hard they were thrown into the air.

Warren left the vehicle and walked south on Durbin Street.

Meanwhile, Warren's sister called police because they were looking for her car. She told police Warren and Young used her car to buy liquor. Warren later walked to her sister's residence on Burlington and told her sister that Young had been beaten in a fight on K Street and she may have bumped into a person with the car.

Police later found Warren near East L Street and arrested her.

At the hospital, the woman was treated for a broken pelvis, a lower back injury and scrapes and bruises.

The father of the woman's fiance did not remember being hit, and he was treated for a concussion.

The affidavit did not say what happened to the other man who was hit.
