On July 7th, Taylor's Sports Bar in Evansville will host a fund raiser poker tournament and cook-out to benefit KiaLee Wilson's family with medical expenses.KiaLee is a 7 year old little girl from Casper, Wyoming who was diagnosed with stage 5 Renal (kidney) disease in August of 2011. KiaLee has been placed on the transplant waiting list (24/7) which forces her mother Jamie to stay home and take care of not only KiaLee, but her siblings as well, while waiting for that very important phone call. Weekly doctor visits are required to make sure things don't worsen for KiaLee. Luck has been on her side so far. Dialysis has not been needed, but without a transplant it's inevitable.

With such a burden for a 7 year old, KiaLee doesn't allow the disease to get her down. She's entering the second grade (she loves school) is energetic, inspiring, loving, spirited and very helpful!

The family is full of optimism that a donor will be found to help KiaLee, and that poker players as well as fun lovers alike will come out in forces to help off-set the medical cost of KiaLee's illness.

Join the fun starting at noon on July 7th, for food, drinks and a silent auction. For the poker players to get in the tournament there are $40 buy-ins with unlimited re-buys available the first hour. Registration is at Taylor's Sports Bar or the Kopper Kettle in Mills. For more information and complete details contact Josh James at (307) 277-4268. Be sure to ask about being a table sponsor.

Just as I was finishing this, I got a message from Jamie Wilson that they were headed to Denver with KiaLee and that the doctors have found a match. Prayers for the Wilson's and good luck moving forward!
