The Pixies renaissance continues! The band just released its first album in more than 20 years, 'Indie Cindy,' and have now announced dates for a North American tour. One of the stops includes a special "evening under the stars" at the famed Hollywood Bowl in California on September 28.

Three of the legendary group's original members are still on board: Black Francis on guitars and vocals, guitarist Joey Santiago and drummer David Lovering. Their bass-player issue has, for now, been solved with the addition of Paz Lenchantin, who joined the touring lineup in January. Opening the shows will be Cat Power and Gogol Bordello.

The band seems happy to be back on the road again. "When we reunited in 2004, we toured seven years and we realized, 'Wow, we’ve been doing this longer than we’ve been a band,'" Lovering told us recently. "But people still wanted to see us."
