This scam just doesn't quit.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office continues to receive calls about an ongoing telephone scam, according to a news release from Sheriff's Sgt. Aaron Shatto on Monday.

The scam starts when individuals call county residents and identify themselves as current Natrona County Sheriff's deputies.

They tell the residents they missed jury duty and have active warrants for their arrest.

While the individuals have the residents on the phone, they try to get more personal information and ask them to pay the warrant over the telephone.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office again reminds people it does not call residents who have active warrants for their arrest and solicit money from them.

The Office also reminds people who receive such calls about arrest warrants to not give any financial personal information.

And hang up immediately.
