While playing full albums in their entirety may be a trend in recent years, it's more of an exception for Pearl Jam. Luckily for fans in Greenville, S.C. Saturday night (April 16), the band decided to make the rare decision to revisit one of their past discs in full. The choice was the 1993 album, Vs.

After opening the show with "Corduroy" from the Vitalogy album, the band began to slowly reveal their plan, starting with the high energy album opener "Go," then breaking out "Animal" and the melodic rocker "Daughter" to follow. Fans at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena started to suspect what the band was doing as one by one, songs like "Glorified G," "Dissident, "W.M.A.," "Blood," "Rearviewmirror," "Rats," "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town" and "Leash" followed. The band concluded their Vs. run with the moody album closer "Indifference," before shifting back into a more traditional concert mood.

But for those in attendance, Vs. wasn't the only thing they got as the band rocked through 20 more tracks before calling it a night, working in covers of "Comfortably Numb," "Last Kiss" and "Baba O'Riley" amidst other favorites like "Given to Fly," "Better Man," "Alive" and "Yellow Ledbetter."

In Pearl Jam's history, the band has performed full albums live only twice before. They played the Yield album in Milwaukee and the No Code album in Moline, Ill.
