Papa Roach‘s Jacoby Shaddix revealed earlier this year that the band was working on “the sickest, most illest P-Roach record to date,” and now he’s dropped a few more details on the band’s follow-up to 2012’s ‘The Connection.’

While speaking with Anchorage, Alaska’s KWHL-FM, Shaddix revealed, “We’ve got a new record coming out at the top of 2015. This record we’re very proud of what we came up with. The album’s called ‘F.E.A.R. (Face Everything and Rise),’ and it’s a banger.”

Shaddix revealed that the band has been working with producer Kevin Churko on the disc. “We wanted to work with a producer that worked in that heavier realm and kind of check him out a little bit,” says Shaddix. “So there’s elements of hard rock, elements of heavy metal, elements of pop, elements of … it’s just all over the place, man, but it’s another classic Papa Roach record. I’m very proud of it.”

The frontman says the band made the conscious decision to go straight from the road to the studio while they were in a good place. He adds, “It was like the floodgates opened, to be completely honest. This record, if I were to die tomorrow, I’d be happy with this being my last statement as a musician.”

Earlier this year, Shaddix told us that ‘Just as Broken as Me’ and ‘Never Have to Say Goodbye’ were among his favorite tracks on the disc. In the time since, other song titles to surface from the album include ‘Gravity’ and the title track ‘Face Everything and Rise.’
