Since their formation in 2004, Panic! At the Disco have been championed by droves of kids with a thing for melodic, slightly angst-filled pop rock. Their approach hasn't always been grandiose, so it was a surprise to see them whip out an over-the-top, very faithful rendition of the Queen classic, 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' Check out their performance above.

Without a shred of irony -- and not a wink or a nod in sight -- Panic! have been delivering a very genuine take on the 1975 classic throughout their current 'Gospel Tour.' As you can see in the video, they even recreate the 'opera section!

The arrangement is completely faithful to the original, as is the guitar solo and the overall feel. 'Tis true, they actually pull it off from the first note to the last. In fact, we'd venture to say that Queen themselves haven't performed the song this well since the death of the late, great Freddie Mercury. Compare Panic!'s version with the original Queen video below:

If this is a sign for their direction ahead, things could get interesting for the Panic! boys.
