Owl Survives After Collision With Semi

Miraculously, a great horned owl survived after a collision, and long ride in the grill of a semi on I-15 in Utah.

The driver struck the bird sometime Saturday evening, but said he didn't notice it until he stopped Sunday morning for fuel.

When the driver realized the owl was still alive, he alerted a local wildlife official. The animal is undergoing rehabilitation for a broken wing, but is expected to make a full recovery.
