... The other guy is Glen Campbell.

I played Green Day's "Good Riddance" on my broadcast this evening, and as I was thinking about that song my 'ol brain-hole chimed in "Hey! Don't you remember that one time you were yelling at the TV screen and Glen Campbell came on and played that "time of your life or whatever" song?? Cause that TOTALLY happened!!"

Seeing Glen Campbell on TV playing a Green Day song was a little out there, but not really all that strange in itself. I mean, Johnny Cash sang that Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt" after all. Country musicians have been playing standards for like 100 years, so no big deal. Things got weird when I looked more closely at the musicians on stage with Glen. I could swear the guitar player looked familiar, and it turns out he is none other than Todd Youth.

Todd is one of my favorite players in the game, most notably for his contributions to Danzig's album "7:77 I Luciferi" and that awesome Son Of Sam album "Songs Of The Earth" (featuring Davey Havok of AFI and 2 guys from Samhain). Strange guy for Glen Campbell to hire, considering when I saw Todd Youth play with Danzig his guitar tone was the most evil sounding thing I have ever heard with my own 2 ears.

Here's the video of Todd playing with Glen Campbell, an "Odd Couple" of music if I ever did see one... Rock.
