The Casper Events Center, Casper Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Casper College are excited to announce that the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I National Volleyball Championships will return to the Casper Events Center Thursday, November 19 through Saturday, November 21, 2015.

The NJCAA serves as the national governing body for two-year college athletics in the United States and is the nation's second-largest national intercollegiate sports organization (second to the NCAA). Each year nearly 60,000 student-athletes from 525 member colleges compete in 28 different sports.

Casper Events Center Building Manager, Bud Dovala, said “The City of Casper and the community are honored to be hosting the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship for the 3rd year in a row. An event of this caliber takes time and commitment to produce the results we are expected, and we are confident this will become a long term relationship with the NJCAA. All entities involved have stepped up to make this a special event and the volunteer base in our community is second to none.”

John Giantonio, Sports Director of the Casper Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, said “It is not only an honor, but it is also extremely exciting to have the 16 best Junior College volleyball teams in the nation, all together competing in Casper, WY. Casper has truly become a national destination for sports tournaments and we are proud to play host to two National Collegiate Championships (College National Finals Rodeo, National Junior College Athletic Association Volleyball Championship).”
