Our friend and former radio personality, Erin Gamroth, is awaiting a new lease on life. Erin was diagnosed with kidney failure in 1999, and after many years of battling the disease Erin is now on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. She can use our help.

A Yard Sale and Bake Sale will be held for the National Foundation for Transplants (NFT) in honor of Erin Gamroth, Friday through Sunday May 18th-20th at Life Steps Campus. There will be small appliances, sports equipment, furniture, tools, toys, household times and collectibles and more, and lots of delicious treats.

If you'd like to donate some of your "stuff" to the fundraiser, all donations are tax-deductible and will benefit the NTF in honor of Erin.

The hope for a new life for Erin comes at a very high price. Here's more from the National Foundation For Transplants:

"The average kidney transplant costs more than $335,000. And that's only the beginning. Even with insurance, which will cover a portion of the transplant costs, Erin still faces significant expenses related to the surgery. For the rest of her life, she will need follow-up care and anti-rejection medications. Post-transplant medications are very expensive, and they're as critical to her survival as the transplant itself.

The transplant center is 275 miles away from Erin's home, and when she receives her transplant, she will have to stay near the transplant center while she recovers, incurring substantial expenses for travel, food, and lodging."

If you can't make it to the sale, you can still make a donation. Visit www.transplants.org to make a secure donation online. Clink on "Find An NFT Patient" and search for Erin Gamroth.
