Neil Young's appearance 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' last night wasn't your typical TV-show performance. With Jack White helping out, Young recorded and pressed a record on the spot.

Young's new album, 'A Letter Home,' was recorded at White's Third Man studio in Nashville. The pair sat down with Fallon to chat about the LP, which Young made in an old-school Voice-O-Graph, a refurbished vinyl recording booth from the '40s.

Then Young retreated to the booth and performed an acoustic version of Willie Nelson's 'Crazy,' which was then pressed to vinyl, live on the show -- just for the hell of it. White recently did something similar when he recorded and released the world's fastest record on Record Store Day. You can watch Young's performance above.

Young also performed a solo piano cover of Ivory Joe Hunter's 'Since I Met You Baby,' which didn't air on the show. But you can watch it below.
