NC’s Taubert Competes in Premiere Meet

Natrona track athlete Lauren Taubert competed in the prestigious Arcadia Invitational outside of Los Angeles and took 3rd in the heptathlon. Out of the 7 events in the heptathlon, Taubert finished 2nd in 3 of those, the 200 and the 800 plus the high jump. She missed out on first place by 169 points. Taubert also competed in the elite division of the high jump and took 6th and the open division of the 300 hurdles and took 12th. Taubert will be continuing her career at Kansas State University. In the history of the Arcadia Invitational, 152 Olympic athletes have participated, setting 25 national records.
