If you're looking to park your recreational vehicle for the winter, don't do it on the streets of Casper...it's against the law.

City officials are reminding citizens that it is illegal to store recreational vehicles on the street for more than five days in any 30-day period. Recreational vehicles include boats, camper trailers, horse trailers, and the like. Officials say it's especially important to complly during the winter months because of drifting and blowing snow, poor visibility, icy road conditions, windrows, and other winter hazards.
RV’s and trailers that remain on city streets for more than five days may receive a notice of violation. You can store them on private property, but officials ask that you beware of any sight distance issues that might be created when you do.

If you have questions or need more information, you can contact the Code Enforcement Department for the City of Casper at (307) 235-8254 or online at www.casperwy.gov.
