John Corabi was the vocalist for Motley Crue from 1992 to 1996, replacing original and current singer Vince Neil. He also contributed to the group’s catalog, including their 1994 self-titled disc, and it looks like Corabi and Crue guitarist Mick Mars may work together again in the near future.

Corabi told Jack Antonio of the Do You Know Jack? radio show that he and Mars have plans to work together, "Yeah, actually I was just talking to him the other day. A lot of people already know about it, but as soon as he's done doing this next tour, Mick and I have had some discussions about possibly going in and doing some writing together and doing a record, and maybe going out and doing some shows. So we'll see how that works." You can stream the interview below.

The singer also talked about his days with Crue in the ‘90s, when he sang and played guitar with the group. Corabi said, "Mick's a great player. He really doesn't need anybody to bump ideas off of. I just basically… Me being able to play [guitar], and play as well as I do, allowed Mick to do… Mick didn't have to worry about, 'Okay, I've gotta play the rhythm here.' 'Okay, I've gotta [break into] the solo,' 'Now I've gotta get back to the rhythm.' He had the freedom to just be the lead guitar player, and I was able to cover up and do whatever rhythms he asked me to do that gave him freedom to be that lead guy. And I think he enjoyed it."

It seems like things are now cool between Corabi and Mars, after the singer went on a rant in 2013 about the lack of communication between him and the members of Motley Crue. See what he had to say here.

The last leg of Motley Crue’s Final Tour kicks off on July 22 in Eugene, Ore., with the band’s last date taking place on New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles.
