The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has played host to a wealth of talent over the years, and some of the more unique performances have been captured for a new release from Time Life. In celebration of the upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Live, Vol. 1 limited-edition release on 180 gram vinyl, we're teaming with Time Life to premiere a clip of Metallica's performance of the Black Sabbath classic "Iron Man" and also offering a giveaway of the LP.

This classic performance took place in 2006 during the Rock Hall festivities when Metallica were on hand to deliver the induction speech for Black Sabbath. They stuck around for the performance portion, as well, delivering this blistering performance with Ozzy Osbourne seen looking on from the audience in the video above.

The Metallica performance of the Black Sabbath classic is just one of the truly awesome moments captured on this new vinyl offering. You'll also find such favorites as Green Day taking on the Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop," a star-studded lineup of Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Ron Wood, Joe Perry, Flea and members of Metallica performing "Train Kept A-Rollin," Cream playing their classic "Sunshine of Your Love," as well as songs from Chuck Berry, Bruce Springsteen, Al Green, James Taylor, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood, Dhani Harrison and Prince. See the full track listing below.

On April 29, a day prior to the HBO broadcast of this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies, Time Life will release the first volume of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Live collection, with Volumes 2 and 3 expected later this year. If you'd like to pre-order the 180 gram vinyl release of Time Life's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Live, Vol. 1, you can do so via Barnes and Noble.

As mentioned, we're also teaming up with Time Life to give away a copy of this limited-edition vinyl release. For a chance to win, click the button below to Retweet the contest announcement and follow @Loudwire and @TimeLifeUS on Twitter. Contest ends Friday, April 29, at 11:59PM ET.
