Cheyenne motorists who use the intersection of Central Avenue and 19th Street will have to find an alternative route starting Tuesday.

The intersection will be closed for at least three weeks, as Phase III of the 19th Street Reconstruction Project moves closer to completion.

The good news is that the intersection of 19th Street and Warren Avenue will reopen.

The $1.213 million project, which stretches between Pioneer and Warren Avenues, is expected to be completed by late November.

Funding for the project comes from the 5th Penny Sales Tax and the Board of Public Utilities.
