A new docudrama is reselling the theory that Courtney Love had her husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, murdered. The film, 'Soaked in Bleach,' sells this theory with some AMC-original-series-level recreations and a pretty convincing actress playing the role of Cobain's widow.

The trailer -- which you can watch above -- also shows accounts from some people who were around when Cobain's body was found, including the president of the American Academy of Forensic Science, the former chief of police for the Seattle Police Department and a private detective named Tom Grant.

The trailer uses some original taped conversations that, heard out of context and sandwiched between bits of dramatic music and conspiracy-theorist rants, sounds pretty damning.

The entire documentary gives off the aura of an old 'Inside Edition' episode with a bloated budget. And we're sure that the timing of this documentary's release, so close to the 20th anniversary of Cobain's suicide, isn't in any way opportunistic.

This will be the second big effort to paint Love, the woman who may soon be responsible for a Nirvana musical, as a criminal mastermind. It doesn't look like it'll be too kind to the 1994 Seattle Police Department either.
