Kid Rock: ‘I’m Not Just Rich, I’m Loaded’

Kid Rock has never been one to hold things back and he continued his outspoken ways in an op-ed penned for the U.K. newspaper The Guardian.

Kid takes on today's social issues and more.

"I am no fan of abortion, but it’s not up to a man to tell a woman what to do," he writes. "As an ordained minister I don’t look forward to marrying gay people, but I’m not opposed to it."

Rock also touches on his experiences with technology and social media, admitting that he doesn't "FaceTweet."

"I understand that I’m the old guy now," he says. "I turn on my computer and look at porn a little bit, see what’s going on in the news, but that’s about it. I’m comfortable with that."

Finally, Rock reveals that he originally played rap-rock because that was "what people wanted at the time," but he has since fallen out of favor with the genre.

"[Rap-rock] turned into a lot of bulls**t and it turned out to be pretty gay," he writes. "If someone says you can’t say "gay" like that you tell them to go f**k themselves. You’re not going to get anything politically correct out of me."

Rock's new album, First Kiss, will be released on February 24.
