Twenty Years, where did they go? Time passes and leaves us with only our memories of days gone by. If you've spent any time at The Beartrap Summer Festival, you have some pretty good memories.

The musical acts are numerous,The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band part deux, The Marshall Tucker Band, Patty Loveless, Jalan Crossland, Ricky Skaggs, Taj Mahal and Earl Scruggs, just to name a few. Yes, these people are all stars, however the one memory that never goes away are all the good people I've met along the way.

The best part of the Festival is all the friends I've had the privilege to meet over the years of my association with Beartrap. Yesterday, was a great example of the worst part of how busy life can be. Although we live in a city of 55,000 to 60,000 people, there are some people I never see until we adjourn in the meadow for two days of music, friendship, and camaraderie.

That's fine by me. At least we get a chance to catch up on life, kids, and generally hangout and reminisce. As I said before, I knew when I left the meadow yesterday, that 364 days later I would see these wonderful people again. Beartrap to me is a win win situation.
