Going to a UW game can be a fantastic experience...or a trying one.

Whether it's football, basketball, volleyball (or any other sport), your experience will be affected by weather, unruly fans, vendor prices, and the state of the facilities. Now, you can have a say in the total fan experience by being part of the WYO Fan Experience Board.

Read the press release below to find out how you can improve the UW experience:

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Sept. 25, 2014) – Are you an avid Wyoming Athletics fan? Show your passion for the Pokes by applying to become part of the WYO Fan Experience Board, a part of the University of Wyoming Athletics Department’s new “WYO Way” customer service initiative. Applications will be accepted through Oct. 31 at GoWYO.com/wyoway.

Individuals on this board will be looked upon to provide valuable input and perspective on fan-oriented topics, particularly the gameday experience. The board will consist of 12-15 members including new and veteran season ticket holders, UW students, Cowboy Joe Club members, single-game ticket buyers and others. Meetings will coincide with sports seasons and total three to four per year.

The ultimate goal of the WYO Fan Experience Board is to develop an open line of communication between the athletics department and fans, driving improvements and progress. Members are expected to bring notes and suggestions on a broad array of topics, including but not limited to: the ticket-buying process, customer service, concessions, in-game entertainment, parking, facility operations and any other game-experience matters.

Board members will be selected and announced in the first part of November.
