Yes, I admit, when it comes to dragging out the Christmas lights and all the tinsel, I’m probably the last to break them out. I think we got out all the decorations just DAYS before Christmas last year. But now that we’re settling into our new house and unpacking the boxes, instead of putting the decorations away in the shed, only to drag them out again in a few weeks, I’m thinking there’s no time like the present to decorate. My husband, on the other hand, is thinking a bit differently. Now I realize that Thanksgiving hasn’t even arrived yet, but I’m just curious, is it too early to decorate for Christmas?

I told myself after last year that we were going to get busy in the decorating department earlier this Christmas season, since last year, our decorations only stayed up for a whole week, only to have to tear them all down again. Some people, including several retailers have already decked out their “halls with boughs of holly…” even before Halloween. So my question remains, is it still too early to decorate for Christmas since it’s before Thanksgiving? When do you break out the “boughs of holly” and decorate for the Holiday season?
