Hinder have unleashed a new single, ‘Hit the Ground,’ but you may notice a change in the group. ‘Hit the Ground’ is the first taste of the band’s new music with singer Nolan Neal, who joined the band in 2013 following Austin Winkler's exit. You can check out the lyric video above.

Drummer Cody Hanson said the song is one of his favorite new tracks and added, “We can't even begin to tell you how excited we are to share it our fans and get this new chapter started.” Fans can download ‘Hit the Ground’ on iTunes here.

Hinder’s upcoming fifth album was co-produced by drummer Cody Hanson and Marshal Dutton. Hanson says of the effort’s musical diversity, "We like to think we can do anything. We don't want to be stuck in a rut with one type of sound or formula … One song might have a country influence, while another might have a pop influence. Then, there are some heavy metal moments. We have every element covered on this record. You've got to do what's best for the song." He concluded, "This band was built around a strong core of hard work and friendship. Like it or not, we're going to be around for a long time."

Last year, former Hinder frontman Austin Winkler released a statement about his split with the band, which you can read here. Hinder’s as-of-yet untitled fifth album will arrive sometime in 2015.
