A 9-year-old girl who was injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Saturday is now in stable condition at a Denver hospital, a Natrona County Sheriff's Sgt. Aaron Shatto said Thursday.

The girl was among three juveniles who were in a sport utility vehicle traveling west on a two-track road north of Bar Nunn and about a mile east of Interstate 25 about 10:15 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle rolled and came to rest right-side up facing northeast.

The three juveniles did not have permission to be in the SUV, and a 13-year-old girl was driving. The driver and another passenger were injured.

The 9-year-old girl was taken by air ambulance to a Denver hospital where she was in critical condition.

Thursday, Shatto said her condition had been upgraded to stable.

Charges may be pending in the accident, Shatto said.

The case remains under investigation.
