If you're a fan of ghosts and phantoms and things that go bump in the night, it's almost time for the annual eerie ghost-hunting adventure at one of Casper's favorite historical sites. Fort Caspar Museum and the Casper Area Paranormal Seekers are again joining forces for "Ghost Tours of the Fort 2018" on the two weekends leading up to Halloween.

The hour-long Ghost Tours will be on October 19th & 20th and October 26th & 27th, starting every twenty minutes with the first tour leaving at 7:00 p.m. and the last leaving at 10:40 p.m. each night.

You can bring your own "ghost hunting equipment" such as cameras and flashlights. It's an outdoor tour so you should dress warmly, and because it can be scary experience, kids under eight years old are discouraged.  After all, there just may be something odd and eerie in those old buildings. "Tourists come up to me and tell me, 'this happened, and this happened,' and often it's the same story, different years", Museum Director Rick Young has told us in the past.

This is a ticketed event, and advance purchase is highly recommended as only ten spaces are available for each hour-long tour. The tickets are $7.00 and will be available for sale at Fort Caspar Museum starting Tuesday, October 2nd, sold on a first come, first served basis.

If you'd like more information, you can call the Museum at (307) 235-8462 or visit their website at www.fortcasparwyoming.com. Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road.
