Once again, Fort Caspar is giving you a chance to get the family out of the house, while offering you a great opportunity to learn more about the history of our windy little city.

Casper, Wyoming -   Calling all Ghost Hunters!  Fort Caspar Museum and the Casper Area Paranormal Seekers are hosting "Ghost Tours of the Fort 2014" on Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th.  The hour-long tours will begin every 20 minutes with the first tour leaving at 7:00 pm and the last leaving at 10:40 pm.  This is a ticketed event, and advance purchase is advised.  The $5.00 tickets will be available for sale at Fort Caspar Museum beginning Wednesday, October 1st and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

New this year, we will be raffling off a special "Midnight Tour" of the Fort. The holder of the winning ticket will receive a private tour for up to four people at midnight on October 25th.  Raffle tickets are available at the Museum for $10.00.  The drawing will take place after the last Ghost Tour on October 24th, and the winner will be notified the morning of October 25th.  Part of the proceeds will support the 11th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry and the 150th Anniversary Celebration/Caspar Collins Days 2015.

The Ghost Tours will begin at the following times:  7:00 pm, 7:20 pm, 7:40 pm, 8:00 pm, 8:20 pm, 8:40 pm, 9:00 pm, 9:20 pm, 9:40 pm, 10:00 pm, 10:20 pm, and 10:40 pm.  Only ten spaces are available for each hour-long tour; children under eight years of age are discouraged.  You may wish to bring a flashlight and a digital camera, and please dress warmly since portions of this program are outdoors.
