Let's just get this out there right now: Bill Pullman's speech as President Thomas Whitmore in the 1996 hit "Independence Day" is one of the greatest moments in cinematography history. Hands down.

The way he gets the other pilots riled up and motivated just before the attack on the aliens commences gives everyone goosebumps. It's perfect in every way. Nothing could make it better.

Well, almost nothing.

For some reason, comedian Gilbert Gottfried, known for his poorly-timed tsunami jokes and unique voice, has decided to recite the epic President Whitmore speech.

While his pacing seems to be a bit off, we're still all motivated and want to go kick some alien ass!
