Ever since OJ Simpson's slow-speed Ford Bronco chase in 1994, we haven't been able to get enough of televised police chases.

They typically all go the same way. A criminal is on the run from the cops. A news helicopter finds them and follows them as they weave in and out of traffic. Eventually, the chase ends when the criminal either crashes, runs out of gas or hits a spike strip.

However, this high-speed chase in Dallas on Wednesday ended a little differently, NBC 5/KXAS-TV reported.

This dude in a Dodge Challenger rips through city streets at a fairly impressive pace. Eventually, though, he gets to an intersection where the squeeze is just a little too tight.

He crashes, but it's not the cops that manage to apprehend him. He's restrained by the pissed off driver whose vehicle he ran into.
