The political election season brings on all types of grandstanding.

One of the easiest things to point fingers about is who wanted to debate and who was trying to duck the debate. Or in the case of one guy, just find replacements to debate, human or otherwise.

In Colorado Springs, Colo., Democratic challenger Irv Halter never heard back about a Fifth Congressional District debate from the current congressman, U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colorado Springs.

Instead of a real debate, three men were hired to wear chicken costumes and field questions intended for the congressman in a mock debate, KRDO-TV reported.

Halter claimed he had nothing to do with the stunt.

However, there is nothing worse than getting called a chicken.
