Flea Auctions Bass Lessons On eBay

(Gibson) Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea, has given a personally customized bass guitar and lessons up for prizes in an eBay auction. According to the Daily Express, Flea’s graffiti decorated bass will benefit the 1983 documentary, Style Wars. The auction will raise money for restoring the film’s negatives. Aside from the decorated bass, Flea is also offering special one-on-one lessons to the highest bidder. Actors Brad Pitt and James Franco and director Spike Jonze are also taking part in the auction.

Runaways Tribute Album Coming June 28th

(Antimusic) Main Man Records have announced a June 28 release date for Take It Or Leave It, a tribute to The Runaways featuring music legends like David Johansen and Bebe Buell, indie rockers like The Dandy Warhols and Care Bears on Fire, old school bands like Starz and The Adolescents, one TV icon (Robbie Rist) and two of The Runaways.
